CLAZER’s patented VR Gun Controller can be used to change the VR gun in the game to match the real gun you are playing the simulation with. How real is that ?
Watch this video that Unity 3D VR guru Stephen made to illustrate how that works. He can opt for 3 barrel lengths – 28, 30 and 32″ – and change the height of the rib and comb from zero to .75 inches.
Meanwhile, the design team back in Texas are finishing the production drawings on the VR gun controller that Stephen is using in the video.

Any projections for when the controller will be in the market?

The first batch are being built this month. Most of those will go to beta testers, and we will start selling next month at about $200

You might consider having your demo man demonstrate hookup to his real gun then shoot 10 five stand targets. Then skeet and trap targets with one gun image instead of a lot of gun changes so prospective buyers can get a better feel what is happening. Also letting a pro shooter use for a little while and giving review could be very compelling to prospective buyers. If starting from scratch all the equipment would be costly so there needs to be feed back for beginners consideration of system and AA or M level shooters consideration of system.

Great ideas – we are doing a mixed media video with 4H club and other club shooters that shows them using the gun controller on their guns while in the game – via a green screen video. So, as you suggest, people can see how a real person interacts with the game. We will be using the production model of the gun controller and we built our own green screen studio to do this. The studio is in Grand Junction, Colorado and will get some good local club shooters to do the demos. Can do videos of all disciplines, plus game controls, install of the gun controller etc.
